My best Barbecue pick hands down!
I’ve done a lot of Barbecue and I must confess it is all good. But there is one that stands out in the area and offers amazing views.
Pops Smoke shack is amazing. It gives you that smokey taste just under the nose, that travels right back down to the food as you eat it. So there is something in the way they smoke their meets. And they give you a lot of food, so much so we had to take ours to go and we had the rest for dinner that night. And we are a family of four. I like rib crib, and famous Dave’s and all the rest. But this local restaurant blows them away. Located in Kimberling city Mo, you get to enjoy the views, and the food all in one location. It will take you about 15 to 20 minutes, and there are other things to do in Kimberling. Pop’s is right on the water and has out door seating as well. Hands down my choice.
Items to try-
The salmon dip-comes in 2 sizes amazing. Small is a good start, as the next size has a lot.
Macaroni and cheese it’s amazing, thick and rich cheese sauce.
The beef is very smokey and the smoke is contained just right.
Mashed potatoes are fantastic.
