Eddie Rabbitt played the theater many times, and I’d seen him on TV once or twice, and I love his music. I got the privilege to run spotlight with him, with a crazy spotlight/lighting guy named Steve. He wore Hawaiian shirts all day long, and was known to sip a drink or two in the spotlight booth. I remember the lightning sounds and thunder before I love a rainy night, and I noticed how big Eddie was from the lighting booth. The guy must of been lifting weights at the time. He was what we usually received in at the theater, as his music was a little more poppy. But he put on one heck of a show, and was nice and as personable as Roy. He even said my name at the end of the show when he thanked the lighting and sound staff. Now how about that for a rainy night!
