My Strategy for Going to see Garth Brooks from a local
Based on last nights employee show at Big Cedar it took them 3 1/2 half hours to leave the show. So here are some tips to help you with the 55,000 people that are going to be in the area.
1) Turn right and go towards blue eye, everyone is going to want to go back to Branson. Go the other way and head towards blue eye/Eureka and turn towards Kimberling City. It will be worth it, as you will be tied up in traffic for hours on 65. When you get to Kimberling go strait and take 160 to Springfield, or roll past sdc and take the high road back towards Harrison.
2) If your headed to Branson take this way anyway and pick up Bee Creek road, or 248 as everyone will be piling onto Highway 76.0
3)Leave during the encore. Everyone will leave after the encore and it will be total chaos. Leave 1 or 2 songs before the end of the shows.
4) Don’t eat at Big cedar, the restaurants are going to be packed, instead pic a restaurant on 248, such at Noodle 21 on Gretna, Getin Basted, or the Pizza place.
5)The landing will be packed so steer clear, unless your wanting the wait.
