Guy Fieri Launches $500 relief fund for Restaurant workers and has a new Restaurant coming to Branson!

As everyone continues to hunker down, and wonder what the future will look like? Guy Fieri is raising funds to help restaurant workers during this turbulent time. He also has plans to bring a new restaurant to Branson. If all goes well, which we have to factor the virus in at the moment. It was scheduled to open in June of 2020!

     Guy has teamed up with the National Restaurant Educational foundation to try and help,layed off workers right now! Last Friday the deal was inked that was designed to help workers out of work. As of last week, the lobbies of restaurants have been closed in a lot of areas, and the to-go services have been amped up! Putting many workers out of work, as they were not needed to run the drive thru. 

     This fund will help raise money to give a one time grant to impacted workers of $500. 

How to apply:

     Go to rerf.us to put in your application. Applications for the grants will be available starting April 2nd. 

     Your qualification must include having worked in the restaurant industry for at least ninety days! Have a major source of your income from the industry and have had your wages decreased, or a loss of job on or after March 10th.
